The New! WJSS 1330 AM- Kingdom Radio. New Management Brings the Best in Multicultural Christian Music and Ministries to Harford County, Maryland

July 10, 2004 -- Kingdom Radio is delighted to bring the new format to Harford County, and has already received a "tremendous response," according to Ronald Reeves, new WJSS General Manager.

Reeves, whose previous experience as on-air personality and assistant program director for the ‘Empowered Life' radio and television broadcasts in Pennsylvania and Virginia, as well as station manager of a North Carolina AM station, brings expertise in media technology to the station, updating equipment and giving new life to the quality of its sound and vibrancy of its programming. Station Manager, Min. Horace Tittle and on-air personality ‘Deacon' Arnold Waldron give WJSS a distinctive voice and keep listeners engaged with enjoyable commentary and inspirational messages during the morning and evening drive time. Listeners especially enjoy "Break Through" hosted by Deacon Arnold on Sunday afternoons at which time local artists are invited to WJSS studio for live on-air interviews. While asking questions, Deacon Arnold takes the time to play several songs from the artist's CDs or tapes, shares views about the Gospel singing industry, and discusses changing trends in Gospel music.

WJSS programming is 24 hours/ 7 days a week and primarily produced locally. National programs will be added in the near future. Although Kingdom Radio's focus is always Christian, an increasing amount of interviews and talk content which is community focused brings programming that is of interest to the community at large. Kingdom Radio's mission is to bring uplifting Christian music, inspiration, empowering programming and goodwill to the community.

A strong local presence will be maintained in Harford County, home of the station's expected core listener base. Originating from Havre de Grace, 5000 watts of daytime power carry the WJSS signal to the northern Baltimore Metro area down to Annapolis; Southeastern Pennsylvania including Oxford, Lincoln University, Lancaster, York, and Chester counties; Wilmington and Newark, Delaware, and the Upper Eastern Shore of MD, from Elkton to Easton. New station equipment has been brought in to ensure optimal signal quality to these areas.

Exciting promotions and appearances at local concerts, conferences, and special events are being planned. Kingdom Radio staff are available for speaking engagements at local area churches and ministry events.
