UCAA host Songwriter's Contest.

July 10, 2004 -- The United Christian Artists Association Announces their plans for a Music Conference and CD compilation. UCAA is hosting a songwriter's contest beginning July 1, 2004. UCAA is searching for 10 songs to be recorded by independent artists and compiled for a project to be recorded in Atlanta. The following are the categories in which we are searching: Contemporary Christian Music, Contemporary Gospel, Traditional Gospel, Acapella, Inspirational, and Praise and Worship. The cd will be sold during the Music conference scheduled for May 5-7, 2005, with plans for a live DVD recording during the conference.

UCAA or NON UCAA members can submit up to 6 songs (please put all songs on the same cd or tape) please include proof of copyright. All music must be labeled with name, and must be postmarked on or before September 1, 2004. Please keep in mind music will not be returned, UCAA will hold music if not used for this project could be used for future projects. The final 10 songs and their songwriters will be announced on October 16, 2004 at the UCAA Music Festival. Details TBA.

Please fill out the form attached and mail with your music. UCAA members can submit the first song for $25 and $20 per additional song. The Judges for this contest are Gospel Music Producers, Arrangers and Gospel Music A& R and Label Presidents. All judges will be announced at the UCAA Music Festival on October 16, 2004.
