UGA Declares July 14-17 Urban Gospel Music Weeek

June 6, 2004 -- UGA Declares July 10th - July 17th Urban Gospel Music Week.

The Urban Gospel Alliance has announced that July 10th - July 17th will be Urban Gospel Music Week. This week will consist of celebrations in both Northern and Southern California and will culminate in the 2004 Urban Gospel Industry Awards & Conference. Come out and join with UGA as we revel in God's use of urban music to spread His word.

Saturday July 10th @ 10AM - UGA & KDYA 1190 The Light presents "Gospel on the Green" @ Jack London Square in Oakland, CA. Artist details coming soon.

Saturday July 10th @8PM - UGA with Truth Entertainment presents The Underground.
GroundZero Coffee House, on the campus of University Of Southern California, Los Angeles

Sunday July 11th @ 3PM - UGA partners w/ People's Place International Church located @ 1475 W. Jefferson Blvd in Los Angeles. Artist details coming soon

Sunday July 11th @ 7PM - The Inland Empire Area will be host to a Sunday night concert that will give local residents a taste of what's to come. Details coming soon.

Monday July 12th @ 8PM - UGA partners with Blackmon Enterprises to present a pre conference showcase including hip hop, contemporary and comedy gospel.
Ha Ha Comedy Club- Hollywood CA

Tuesday July 13th @ 7PM - UGA presents the Urban Gospel Mini-Showcase held in conjunction w/ Southern California Gospel Announcer's Guild. Up & Coming artists will have the complete attention of guild members (consisting of heavy hitters in the southern California gospel music scene) as they highlight their ministry. Slots still available.

July 14th - 17th - UGA presents the Urban Gospel Industry Awards & Conference at the Riverside Convention Center, in Riverside, CA.
